CHA'MONE!!!
Topic of thaaa WEEEEEEEEEK!
This weeks topic, in celebration of my birthday this coming Friday is...
Bad kids.
This doesn't necessarily have to bee a bully, just a kid that is up to no good of any kind.
*Disclaimer if my wife ever reads this: This has nothing to do with the behavior of our kids, just a topic I though of when I saw this picture the other day.*

What's in a Metroid?
I didn't really know the story of Metroid, just knew it turned out to be a girl at the end of the game (spoiler).
So here is Samus as a small child as I envisioned her, in a strange environment, playing Metroid as she often did on those spring days after school, with her beach balls and bucket, hoping one day she would grow up and get paid to play Metroid.
I don't know what the deal is with the background, just a bunch of weird colors I guess, pretty crappy.
This was kind of a rush one, I had no idea what to do, thanks B-man.

Metroid
This was a tough week. I came up with a couple diffrent ideas, but none of them panned out.
From The Morph Ball running into bowling pins to variations of different monsters from the Metroid universe, nothing came out the way I wanted. Running out of time, here is what I came up with this week:
Not 100% happy with it, but it's kinda funny :)

New Topic!
This week's theme: Metroid! Woo!
Take anything from the Metroid universe and draw it in any style you see fit, here are a couple images of the main character (and one of a cool boss).

The "Bull Buster"
Here's a card I found in my Dad's box of old stuff. It almost got thrown out.
Rick Buckner (Bay City Ballers 1969-73) was dubbed the "Bull Buster" after he hit a grand slam against the Balzac Bulls in 1973 to win the regional championship.
He was drafted into the Majors by the Huston Astros the following year but died before he played one game after he ate a styrofoam muffin by mistake.
I didn't make another one but I did manage to find a mint condition card.

Take me out to the ball game
These cards are based off a couple different images that popped up when you google search "70s baseball cards"... Like B-Man, I don't follow the sport, so I created my own team.
Here are my baseball cards. "The Hams" is the best team (n)ever created.
First up is Ron Hitman:
I'd imagine Ron being like Fonzie. Every man wants to be him and every woman wants to be with him. He'd often spout out popular catchphrases that would end up on t-shirts and lunch boxes.I'd imagine Will Wild being a bad mother -- (shut your mouth!). He would be the cause of, and solution too, all baseball related riots. He also likes knitting.

Some Baseball Dude
Yeah, I don't follow baseball so I don't know who's good or not. I decided to go with this dude because he was one of the first few images that popped up when I typed in '1970s baseball cards'. I tried to make it look as close as I could to a 70s era baseball card. By the way here's the original card:
